Carlisle Penna Sept. 8. 1836~The undersigned Certify that Joseph Miller the Bearer of this Mulatto man twenty two years of age, Five feet nine and one half inches in height was raised in the Borough of Carlisle Pa and has behaved himself correctly for the many years he has been known to us.
