Know all men by these presents that I Albert Wallace of the County of Crittenden in the State of Kentuckey from Motives of benevolence & humanity have Manumitted and do hereby manumit & set free from Slavery my Mulatto Negro Boy Edwin. age about 15 years and I do hereby give grant and release to him the said Edwin All my right and title & claim of in and to his person, labour an service and of in & to the estate and property which he may hereafter acquire or obtain In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the 12th day of June in the year of our Lord 1847.
