Virginia Lowden County Set 13th August 1834 I, Charles Burns, Clerk of the County Court of  Louden do hereby certify that Thomas Henry Lucy Ellen & Rachel Mahoneys the children of Katy Mahoney are free born  as appears by the oath of Stacey Harper said Thomas is a dark Mulatto two small scars in his forehead two scars on the right arm occasioned by a burn & a scar on the right ankle about eight years of age, said Henry is of dark complexion a small scar on the right arm above the elbow, a small scar on the forehead no other scar or mark  about four years of age, Said Lucy Ellen is of a bright complexion no scar or mark about two years old, said Rachel is a bright Mulatto a scar below the left eye a scar on the right side of the neck one on the top of the head straight hair about twelve years old was this day registered in my office according to law.
